Felling operations are due to take place at Broadmeads Plantation and Witherdon Woods very soon, while operations are underway the whole woods will be closed Monday – Friday for approximately 4 months. Broadmeads is due to start on 1^st August and Witherdon is due to start a week later on the 8^th August.

Some information from West Devon Borough Council about help for people with the cost of living increases. 

This is the emergency scheme of delegation that allows the Clerk to keep the council running without meetings during the covid restrictions. 

This was approved at the Full Council Meeting on 15th December 2021

This is the first edition of the new community newsletter. 

Due to the retirement for the parishioner who has been emptying the waste bin in the village for many years, the PC has decided to try to understand the waste bin usage. To this end the bin has been removed for a six month trial period. We would be delighted to have your feedback on the impact the removal of this facility has on the local environment. If, at the end of the trial, there is an apparent need for a waste bin, it will be reinstated and emptying will be arranged through West Devon Borough Council, at a current cost of £3.00 per time.
